OUTCRY OVER FILM THAT CALLS WOLVES KILLERS

Sir Winston Churchill
"Never Give In"
"This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."
"If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it the third time — a tremendous whack."
"Dictators ride to and fro upon tigers which they dare not dismount. And the tigers are getting hungry."
"An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."

I was thinking of seeing the film, but i've changed my mind, its time man was seen in a different light, to the 'I am the Great i am' Image He's been putting out about himself, as the Ruler of the world, the reality is far different, and not at all an image to be proud of...

I think that tells us all we need to know about his judgement.

In France, on the other hand, 0ver 3,000 fatal wolf attacks on humans are recorded between the 15th. and 18th.Centuries - almost two thirds of them being from non-rabid animals. Various other European countries record such attacks over the years, but in modern times, they are very rare to non-existent, mainly due to the absence of wolves in Europe.
In Scotland, there were so many instances of grave-robbing by wolves that corpses were either buried on offshore islands or in 'five flagstone' coffins. Grey wolves were also reported scavenging on the Civil War battlefields.
I'm afraid that Anglo-Saxons did their share of wolf hunting. Apparently in 950, King Athelstan imposed an annual tribute of 300 wolf skins on Welsh king Hywel Dda. And the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle called January 'wulf-manoth', the beginning of the hunting season which lasted until March, and took in the cubbing season which meant that the fur was of better quality (but caused the greatest possible amount of damage to the number of wolves.)
I still won't be watching Neeson though!
Oh and BTW, if he likes the sound of wailing muezzins, I've no objection to him pissing off to Pakistan to listen to them!
