BRITISH bosses are offering thousands of jobs to Romanian workers despite UK unemployment hitting a 17-year high of 2.68million.

As the jobless rate soars to 8.4 per cent, Romanian job-seekers are being snapped up in a recruitment drive that has made the UK the favoured destination for the would-be migrant workers.
In Bucharest yesterday, online recruitment agency tjobs.ro said British firms were trying to fill 2,434 jobs with Romanian workers.

Many posts were for medical staff, tourism workers and skilled staff, but a quarter of them were for labourers and other unskilled workers.

The jobs are just the latest being offered to out-of-work foreigners while their British counterparts are left dependent on the benefits system.

UK posts on offer in Romania included £2,000-a-month cab drivers, nurses on £24,000 a year and doctors offered £4,000 a month. Other jobs included sales staff, care-home assistants and hotel posts. In December alone there were 9,383 applications from Romanians for UK jobs through tjobs.ro.

This made up more than 20 per cent of the total applications. Germany came next, with 6,890 Romanian applications, followed by Denmark with 4,199.

Earlier this month, a report revealed immigrants had taken 160,000 jobs from British-born workers in five years.


One British job was lost for every four non-EU workers arriving here between 2005 and 2010.


The study by the Government’s Migration Advisory Committee revealed the number of foreigners working in the UK had soared by 2.1 million in 15 years. Cheap labour was one of the biggest problems. The startling findings come as youth unemployment in Britain crashes through the one million barrier.

They vindicate warnings the Daily Express has sounded for years on the dangers of the last Labour government’s open-door policy on immigration.

The report makes a mockery of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s pledge to create “British jobs for British workers”.

Sir Andrew Green, chairman of campaign group MigrationWatch UK, said: “The committee have had the courage to say straight out that immigration can add to unemployment, especially during a recession.”

Romanian nurse Sylvia Basescu, who is looking for a job here, said: “Many of my friends have jobs in the UK. They earn great salaries. There is lots of overtime and they can save a lot of money to buy property in Romania and send money back to support their families.”

Nine out of ten people who joined the workforce last year were foreign nationals, official figures revealed yesterday.
The number is far higher than had been previously thought.
British nationals accounted for only a tiny fraction of the rise in employment among working age people with most new workers being immigrants.
Last night experts warned there could be a ‘jobless recovery’ for British workers unless ministers get to grips with immigration.

Chancellor George Osborne frequently points out that Britain has achieved one of the best records for job creation among developed countries in the past 12 months.

The new figures raise questions about whether the Government’s drive to get millions off benefits and into work can be achieved without further curbs on immigration. They will also increase pressure to reform the bloated benefits system.
The figures, produced by the Office for National Statistics, reveal that employment among working age people rose by 181,000 in the Coalition’s first year. Yet employment levels among British nationals rose by just 14,000, or less than 8 per cent of the total.
Employment among non-UK nationals rose by 163,000 during the period – equal to more than 90 per cent of the total.

Tory MP Priti Patel said the revelations should should ‘ring alarm bells’ in Downing Street.
She said: ‘There is a very real concern about the number of British jobs which are going to foreign nationals. Clearly we have got to do something about this urgently if we are going to succeed in the aim of getting British people back into work.
‘There is an opportunity now, with the economic recovery underway, to tackle this in a much more structured way. It is vital that we do, because if we are going to have a buoyant economy we need to make sure British people on benefits get back into employment.’

Sir Andrew Green, chairman of the think tank Migration Watch UK, said: ‘Individual statistical methods do not always reveal what is going on because there are so many different factors involved, but the situation is now crystal clear – a huge proportion of new jobs created in the economy are going to foreign nationals.
'We really must now improve the skills and incentives for British nationals while also reducing foreign immigration where we can.
‘Otherwise, from the point of view of British workers, this risks becoming a jobless recovery.


‘Worse, it could condemn a lot of British workers, especially among the young, to many years of unemployment.’ The latest  figures were compiled by the ONS on behalf of the Spectator magazine.
Unlike previous statistical releases they focus on employment levels among working age people – stripping out the large increase in employment among British nationals aged over 65.
Between 1997 and 2010, more than half of the rise in employment in the UK was accounted for by foreign nationals.
The latest figures suggest that the situation has become even more stark as the economic recovery slowly gets underway.
The revelation will strengthen the hand of Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith who broke Cabinet ranks last month by warning that a fresh generation of young men and women will be condemned to a life on benefits without tougher measures to stem the flow of migrant workers.

Included in this is the fact that wages have reduced thanks to foreign workers so less money is being spent in the shops.  Result more businesses are cllosing down.

Foreign workers are sending much of their money home which also means less money being spent in Britain.  Again causing businesses to close.

Short sighted employers are acting much like the third world businesses whose only concern is how much money they can make from society.  They dont care about the wealth circulation just about how much money they can get into their bank account.

We are flooding this country with failed nation peoples and failed nation capitalist practices.  
So we can only become a failed nation country ourselves.  STUPID and SHORTSIGHTED GREEDY Employers.
Enjoy your wealth because as you rob the worker so the worker will see you for what you are.  YOu are bringing on the Anti-capitalist riots that will target your houses your wealth and yourselves.

I think that bosses are seeing how in the middle east and Africa etc bosses who dont allow their money to circulate make massive profits.

However you still need a buyer.

The middle east, India, China etc work in this way.  Keep the homegrown peoples poor while selling to the richer nations eg we in the west.

Do the bosses really think these greedy self centered nations will pay over the odds for what we produce?
No, I dont think so.  Who will buy the petrol and deisil if we in the west have no jobs?
Who will buy the Japanese/Chinese electronics if we in the west have no jobs?

Do these bosses think the Rumanians will buy British goods when our economy is going downhill?

These bosses have now dismantled British interests in place of self interest under the guise of a global economy.  Well the global economy wont work without buyers and sellers.

We kept China India and the middle east rich by buying their cheap goods once our own government sold out our industries.
This begun the destruction of western industries and economies.

There is going to be a small global elite of mega rich businessmen/women who have all the money.
What good will it be in a few generations when it leads to 'global' riots.  When we who have lived in times of plenty decide we want back what the mega rich have taken from us.

If the English were work-shy they would have never have built England up as one the most richest and successful countries in the world. Employers and governments insult the English by saying work-shy in an attempt to keep down wages and  make people work longer hours for less. Its all about keeping the overheads of the politicians companies and of their friends companies down.

Money is cyclical, keep money in the cycle i.e. within England it generates more money and tax for England by being passed through the commercial, retail and tax sectors i.e. more spent means more profit and more tax paid. Foreigners take the money out of the cycle and send it abroad so in fact that money and the potential it had to create more money and tax in England is lost for good. But there is the rub, most politicians and many companies do not care about England and the English, they care about their overheads and profit margins. They are not interested in the well being of the whole country, but of their companies and personnel bank balance. So they are willing to damage the former for the sake of the latter. Which is why they hire foreigners with the backing of their supporters called politicians, and support the EU. They see the ethnic English worker and England as expendable.

Personally apart from some in the medical profession I have never met any foreigners that work hard.

My son applied for a job with one of the London councils about three years ago, when he phoned for an application form he was asked if he was English, yes says he, aah says person on the other end of the phone, are you white English, yes says my son, then dont waste your time we aren't taking on any white English just now.... By the way, my lad most certainly isnt lazy he has since built up his own business in the building trade, he works six days a week and Sunday morning he is out doing quotes...
The blatant discrimination is disgusting and he was told he couldn't claim any discrimination as the English are not a valid race..... I cant tell you what my lad said on that cos i dont use such language myself!

he was told , the govermant, as told not to set english people on, only east europeon's, the job centre did not belive him, so they had to phone to confirm it, disgusting.

My mate was told that unless he took on the black and Asian brickies they sent from the job center he would be taken to court.

He told them that he started his company with just himself and his/my mate dave. He can quite easily continue to earn good money with him and his mate.
He then said to the Job Center person, and I quote as I was there [ If you want to poke you nose into my business which was started by me, funded by me, continued by me, and rather a lot of people being paid by me then you have a problem. You see I will lay off the 20 or so people that work for me and continue on with just me and a labourer. Now I will employ who I like and when I like. I dont want an ethnic worker from a country thats work is sub-standard. So my dear, dont worry about pushing me to find work for an unwanted ethnic or as I say I will lay off all mt long term crew and you will have to worry about finding benefit for 20 plus, now fuck off"

I  have a job interview this thursday, it's for a frozen foods company packing and checking frozen goods with-in a warehouse.
Hey, a job's a job in today's climate and i'm a young lad in need of money and freedom. What they didn't say was that I had competition with a few dozens of Polish and Romanians, heck i'm still thinking whether it's worth even attending... I have a very bad gut feeling I wont be getting the job.

Dont let the anglophobic shytes get you down mate.

If you dont go for the job then your playing into the hands of those who say the English wont do the jobs foreigners will do.
If you go and they give the job to a Pole then at least when anyone uses that argument you have a valid argument against them, because you tried but the employer doesnt want to employ English workers.

However it turns out you win.

You either get a job or you get proof that you are rejected for being English.

Employers want cheap labour they are just pushing the lie that English youths wont work.

Good luck Mr West. And you can hold your head up high that you are going for the job. Hopefully you will get the job, though if you are discriminated against you can always let you mp know that you an ethnic Englishmen have been discriminated against for being so. And ask them what they are going to do about it? They hate those questions and it all filters through to the top, so in the end with their growing realisation of the groundswell of English anger and growing resentment, this start to play on the politicians minds and their policies.

I will definitely attend this interview, it was a well made point about not attending and that's playing into the anti-English establishment's hands. Which I certainly will not be doing.
