One day I hope to save enough to get a hand made Saxon knife. ..To think in early history we were masters knife makers and sword-smiths. And during the industrial revolution England led the world knive making. Even the Bowie knives ( actually a slight adaptation of a seax) were made in England because the English were the best. Now we have very have few knife makers makers left.

I'd love a seax and I've seen the one I want (which has runic engravings) at the MGF in Shropshire. Weston park is very close to me I can hear the V festival music when I'm trying to get some bloody sleep.
I'd prefer a English one but Fallkniven make some stunning survival knives.

Your rights US, unless someone is loaded with money its is best to have a good think on what type of seax you want before for buying. Otherwise you can end buying one, then later seeing one which you would prefer to have but now cannot afford. An expensive mistake.

Quite like this knife and I dont think it's to costly for a carbon spring steel blade.
