There is more than enough of our military on the Falklands to deal with any threat from those dirty chilli chompers. The Argentinian forces are still conscripted and have no combat experience. Their leaders would no that sending any kind of invasion force would be suicidal. I do agree that the cuts that both Labour and the Torries have made to our military have somewhat weakend our standing in the world and I hope that this is a wake up call to the LIB/LAB/CON.
We still have the best trained and to an extent the best equiped military in the world, and while our military has changed one hell of a lot since 1982, the Argentine forces have not. I see this as nothing more than the diegos bumping their gums about the vast amount of black gold found around the Falklands. Nothing will come of it.
