Item from the Today programme.

New polling from the think tank IPPR and Cardiff and Edinburgh Universities has found that that 79% of English voters want Scottish MPs barred from votes on English only laws.

Co-author of the report Professor Richard Wyn Jones outlines the main findings, explaining that there seems to be a growing "politicisation of English identity".

Very interesting but who we are is still none of their (politicos) business - and I'm referring to this 'commitee' of 'eminent' people alluded to by the Welsh commentator. We can walk away from any body that seeks to control or change us because we have the right to self-determination.

Understood, Steven.  It's just an example of the growing awareness of English identity.

I suppose if your surname is Wyn-Jones and you're working for Cardiff and Edinburgh universities, you're ALLOWED to discuss these issues. I'm  more interested what Eddie Smith from Lyndhurst, Lincoln, or Diss thinks about it!

The British state has to be slowly realising that the sheeple are waking up to the double standards being shown towards we English.

They are going to try everything they can to delay it, for example the English votes on English issues shyte put forward by CaMORON and by this link.  Why isnt it discussing an English parliament....because they want to avoid English equality

Eventually though England will get its way.

Good post Aengifu.

Quotes from the interview in black, my thoughts in blue.

You don't hear about it, volunteering the issue (talking about it)?
That is because the media has had decades of  blackout on all the matters concerning the English nationalist cause, English independence, native English rights and freedoms and true English identity.

Incorporating England as England to the system involves fundamental change to the central organs of the UK?
The English do not want be incorporated into the rest of the UK. Besides we have our own English constitution we do not need the approval from the UK cabal to once again be independent from the UK and EU.

Commission wont discuss how England fits into the political system?
Because if the English win independence (and we will) it will mean the end of their exploitation of the English and end to their personal gravy train. What is more those on the commission would have little if any understanding of true English identity and the English constitution, beside which they couldn't be trusted. They would stilt try to weasel things to keep the status quo.

British political class is very uncomfortable about about dealing with England as England?
They and their business associates, are uncomfortable because the English lay the golden egg via taxation i.e. the English  fund the political classes (and their corporate friends) political and business ideologies, therefore funding the gravy train life style, that they also wish to hand onto their children at the expense of the survival of the true English nation, our culture and country.

Politicising English identity?
That is only because the political parties and successive governments have used every political tool in the book and mechanisms of state to attack, undermine and eradicate the true English nation and all that is of us. If they want to call defending our identity, ethnicity, our rights and freedoms, our way of life, our nation and country, our families our very existence, ..If they want to call that 'political' then they can call it political. ..To the ethnic English it is a matter of principle, a moral stand and a duty  to do what is right for us.

No compromise.

Sir Winston Churchill

"Never Give In"

"This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."

"If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it the third time — a tremendous whack."

"Dictators ride to and fro upon tigers which they dare not dismount. And the tigers are getting hungry."

"An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."

Thanks for that, Guthlac.  The more England is mentioned as a separate nation the easier it will be for the cowed English to speak up again.
