Santa Claus will touch down on Sunday afternoon to celebrate International Migrants Day and join in a protest calling for the Mexico government and its Vancouver consulate to stop the blacklisting of Mexican migrant farm workers in BC suspected of being union supporters, according to a statement from United Food and Commercial Workers Canada (UFCW).
The organization says he will be joined by "hundreds of community, labour and human rights activists along with the Solidarity Choir, for a festive, feisty and song-filled Vancouver community gathering at 2 p.m. (PDT) at the Library Square on George Street.
"Along with the mirth, Santa will also display his Who's Been Naughty list, with Mexico at the top for its alleged blacklisting activities detailed in charges filed by UFCW Canada Local 1518 with the BC Labour Board."
The union says Santa will also be collecting "Wish Letters for respect and dignity for migrant workers, and for a stop to the blacklisting."
The Wish List will be delivered to the Mexico Consulate in Vancouver before Christmas.

Yes, the bleeding hearts have to stoop to silly stunts. Meanwhile they ignore the fact we have many out of work people who are actually citizens of this country. I think certain people should learn to concentrated on the needs of their own first instead of worrying about projecting an image of altruism. If people actually thought these things through before jumping on causes, they would see that their pc-actions will only be to the eventual detriment of themselves, family and in the long term, their descendants. ~R

Push us the Englisc too far, and you shall know the full meaning of retribution.
Fair play, tolerance and freedom. Over the last millennium all of these qualities have marked us out as a nation and so, in the future, will continue to do so... They also say that we're always pissed, completely arrogant and hate foreigners... Ah well, nobody's perfect!

Immigration is the new worlds slavery. Every society at some point had slavery, and the common man always complained about it - 'migrant workers' are virtually the same thing. Slavery always pushed a paid worker out a job: They come here, work for fuck all, and then we the native people have to accept lower wages and a lower standard of living as a result.
Politics are brought and paid for by the Corporations that fund them.

Sir Winston Churchill
"Never Give In"
"This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."
"If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it the third time — a tremendous whack."
"Dictators ride to and fro upon tigers which they dare not dismount. And the tigers are getting hungry."
"An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."
