Frikadeller (Danish recipe)

Ingredients Needed
  • 1 lb of minced pork
  • 125g of flour, plain or self raising
  • 1 medium onion...... ground up finely [not chopped] put it through a mincer.
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 level teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
MIX THIS ALL TOGETHER.

AFTER IT IS WELL MIXED, GRADUALLY ADD MILK UNTIL THE MIXTURE BECOMES SLOPPY [NOT TOO MUCH]

USING A DESSERT SPOON, PLACE HEAPED SPOONFULS INTO A FRYING PAN ABOUT HALF A DOZEN AT A TIME

FRY UNTIL GOLDEN ON EACH SIDE [NOT TOO HIGH A HEAT]

THIS SHOULD MAKE ABOUT 15-20

VERY TASTY SNACK AND FREEZES WELL...............IF YOU TRY THIS, YOU MAY WANT TO SLIGHTLY ADJUST THE LEVELS OF SALT. PEPPER AND FLOUR IF YOU MAKE IT AGAIN.
